WHAT I DO
I am on a mission to rewrite the narrative around fitness. Having felt the discrimination that exists within the fitness industry not only as a BIPOC woman, but also as a person in a bigger body who thrives as an athlete, I am committed to creating a space where individuals of all sizes can find joy in moving their bodies. Rejecting the one-size-fits-all mentality, I prioritize empathy and acceptance, acknowledging that everyone carries a unique story that deserves respect.
My goal is to empower and instill confidence in my clients, recognizing that true strength goes beyond physical appearance. Through personalized training programs tailored to individual needs and experiences, I aim to guide clients towards self-love and acceptance. Drawing inspiration from my own journey, I aspire to help individuals discover their inner athlete, regardless of societal standards.
As I continue to learn and evolve as a coach and trainer, my commitment to empathy and acceptance remains unwavering. My overarching goal is to facilitate a transformative journey for my clients, fostering not only physical strength but also enhancing mental well-being. Together, we embark on a path towards self-discovery, resilience, and a profound love for oneself through the joy of movement.

WHO I AM
I was born and raised in Southern California, the middle child of immigrants. While my upbringing was rough, I never felt unloved.
When life got too tough, I could always step onto a basketball or tennis court and lose myself in a game. Somewhere in my 20s, I lost my way and was on a path of self-destruction. I gained over 100lbs and stopped caring about myself.
In 2015, I became a mother. And again in 2017. I decided to try and get back into shape so I could run around with my kids. But, I got so discouraged when the scale would yo-yo back and forth. Then, I lost my father in 2022. I was dealing with grief so intense that it forced me to reevaluate my life. There was this moment when I realized that life isn’t a straight, direct path. It curves. There are ups and downs. And I have to celebrate the ups while riding out the downs.
I fell back in love with myself and fitness. The difference now is that I know what my body is capable of and I’m not afraid to push my bigger body to the limit.
I’m currently an Exercise Science student at PCC. I live in Portland, OR with my partner and our two children, Gabriel and Ellie.
