One way to boost your confidence is with positive self-talk. My favorite way is to use an affirmation for a quick boost for my mental health. Today, take some time to create an affirmation just for you.

Try these steps:
- Think about a part of your life you’d like to focus on. Where could you use some extra encouragement?
- Imagine the outcome you want in that area. Picture yourself living your best life.
- Using an “I” statement, what positive aspect represents this “you” in that scenario? Tip: try to keep it achievable.
Here’s my example: I am struggling with getting enough sleep. My anxious mind just can’t shut off during the night. I wake up worried about various things and then decide I need to get up and start my day. In my best life, I am getting more than 3-4 hours of sleep a night. I’m rested and feel healthy.
An affirmation I could use is: I am safe and grateful for a restful night’s sleep.
I would say this to myself before sleep. I can already see myself calming down before falling asleep. I think I’ll try it for a few nights and report back.
What is an affirmation you can use today?
