Today, find time to be in a space that brings you tranquility.
Tranquility can look different for everyone. The definition of tranquility is a state of being “calm, serene, and worry-free.” It can also be thought of experiencing peace, either inner or in your environment.

Many religions encourage tranquility. In my life, I gravitate toward Eastern religions (even though I was raised Catholic). In Buddhism, there is a concept known as passaddhi which refers to tranquility of body, voice, mind, and spirit on the path of enlightenment. It is part of the seven factors of awakening in Buddhism.
The topic of tranquility is growing in interest in the scientific community. In mental health, tranquility can help reduce stress and anxiety. It can also help manage overthinking, encourage better sleep/rest, and make it easier to manage difficult situations.
What does tranquility look like for you?
