When did you last set aside time to take care of yourself?
September is Self-Care Awareness Month. I created a prompt list that I hope inspires you to do a little self-care for every day in September.

Maybe it seems silly to have a challenge centered on taking care of yourself. However, self-care is more than just meeting your basic needs. That is just one aspect of it. Of course we can’t function without proper rest or food. Obviously we need to move our bodies. But what else can we do to take care of ourselves?
Meeting our physical needs helps us survive. Meeting our mental, emotional, and even spiritual needs ensures that we also thrive.
I’ll be participating in the challenge on my Instagram page as well. As a recovering workaholic, I need all the self-care reminders I can get.
